I’m Kayleigh van Dongen, a self-taught painter from Rotterdam who has called Remich home for about five years. Painting started as a curiosity and quickly became a real passion, pursued through steady, independent practice.

My work is about the town I’ve come to love: the tour boat on the Moselle at dusk, the historic Porte St. Nicolas, and the greylag geese who stroll along the esplanade as if they own the place. I paint in acrylic, aiming for warm, recognisable scenes that capture how Remich feels as well as how it looks.

In September 2026 I showed my first series at the 20th edition of the Crémant a Kultur Festival in Remich. This site is where I share new paintings and news. If you’re interested in a painting or a commission, I’d love to hear from you.
